This is a website built and maintained by a
Canadian hedgehog breeder. He is a leading expert in hedgehog genetics. If you want information on basic care or hdegehog colors, look at this site.
Chins & Quills - www.chins-n-quills.com
This is the best message board on the web for
information about hedgehogs and chinchillas. Many members are experienced
breeders and long time hedgehog owners. You can learn anything and everything
about hedgehogs here. (My user name is Super Chin)
International Hedgehog
Association - www.hedgehogclub.com
The IHA is a registered non-profit organization
dedicated to helping educate the public in the care and betterment of hedgehogs.
The IHA website has information on hedgehog ownership and on hedgehog shows.
Hedgehog World - www.hedgehogworld.com
Hedgehog World is a website created by hedgehog enthusiasts from around the nation. It contains many good articles on hedgehog ownership and care, and also has a Forum.
Hedgehog Valley - www.hedgehogvalley.com
Maintained by Antigone Means-Burleson (Tig). She is
the author of “The Hedgehog Primer” the most up-to-date hedgehog book available.
Her site has information about all aspects of hedgehog care. It also answers
some of the more advanced, less frequently asked questions.
Pogstar Hedgehogs - www.pogstarhedgehogs.com
Has great information on hedgehog care, and can be
specially noted for food reviews. Many popular foods are cited, along with their
protein and fat content, and are rated. Check out this site when trying to
decide what food to feed.
The Hedgie Den - www.freewebs.com/thehedgieden
Maintained by Nancy Denny, a small home breeder in
Kingston, Ontario. This site has tons of great photos and funny pictures with
captions added on. It also gives great information. Nancy also sells custom made
hedgie bags, hats, blankets, liner, carriers, etc… If you are looking for a
hedgie bag, check out this site.

This is a great review and includes information on many of the aspects of hedgehog care. It
doesn't go into extreme detail, but has lots of very useful information.
