Shopping List
So you are finally getting a hedgehog! Maybe you are preparing to get one in a few weeks. Either way, you need to go shopping and buy some things for your hedgehog. This is a list of basic neccessities that you will need when your hedgie comes home.

Cage:
You need somewhere for your hedgehog to live. For cage suggestions check the housing page.

Food:
Your hog needs something to eat. For suggested foods, check the feeding page.

Treats:
Your hog needs some treats to snack on. Treats are also a great way to get your hog socialized. For suggested treats, check the feeding page.

Toys:
In order to keep your hog entertained, it will need some toys. For suggested toys check the toys page.

Bathing Materials:
When bath day comes you will need shampoo, nail clippers, and a toothbrush. For more bathing information, check the grooming page.

Cage Accessories:
This includes a hedgie bag, a hidey house, water bowl/bottle, food dish, wheel, etc... For a more complete list of needed cage accessories, check the everything else page.

Bedding:
This could be pine, vellux, carefresh, or something else. For bedding suggestions check the everything else page.

Heating Implement:
Unless you can keep the temperature in your house 75 degrees, it will be a good idea to buy some sort of heater. For different types of heating implements, check the temperature page.
